Yay! Today's the lst day of the 8th lunar month, meaning the end of the "Hungry Ghost" month. The spooks have been given a grand sendoff by the temple and now I can relax, come out of hiding and sleep peacefully every night! Even Ning has returned to the temple for his naps and he's snoring away every afternoon in the kitchen. But sometimes, I wonder... do the spooks really go back where they belong? If I were a spook, I might not want to go back, especially when there's so much to enjoy here in this realm ...great food, mobile phones, fast cars .... I get shudders just thinking about this. Hey, maybe I think too much, I'd better get a hold of myself before I become a nervous wreck! Oh, I'm looking forward to the mid-autumn festival - lots of mooncakes and moon biscuits for my sweet tooth!
Aah, sleep at last! Ning's already dreaming of mooncakes! So is his friend ...
