Hello, readers! You may remember I posted "An Introduction" some time ago where I told you a little of the cats who live in the temple near my home and on whom I base my stories.
On a recent visit to the temple, I was saddened to hear that the hero of my stories, Da, had passed away not too long ago from old age. He was a lovely cat and I'm sure he's now happily playing away in Cat Heaven with the birds and butterflies! I shall never forget this little feline but "Da" shall continue to live on in my stories as the goodhearted and courageous cat who's always helping people!
The other piece of sad news is that the cat whom I call "Ning" is slowly going blind due to old age. He too is a beautiful cat and a constant companion of "Da" in the temple. I wish him a painless and peaceful life until the end.
